NEW ADHESIVE TAPEAVAILABLE FROM ELCOMETER
We are pleased to announce the availability of a newadhesive tape, Elcometer 99 Tape, for use with ASTM Method D3359.
Permacel P99 tapewhich is referenced in the footnote of ASTM method D3359 for Standard TestMethod for measuring adhesion by tape test also known as Cross Hatch and CrossCut Adhesion Testing, has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is nolonger available. Elcometer 99 Tape has been specially formulated to be anear equivalent to the Permacel P99 tape and is therefore a suitablereplacement for this tape.

The tablebelow gives the comparative values for the two tapes.ASTM Sub-Committee D01.23 is undertaking a round robin test for tapes with aview to updating the published method in 2010.
